    Associate Professor Zhong-Hua Chen is Associate Dean International at School of Science and Health, Western Sydney University. Associate Professor Chen teaches into a few Units of the Natural Science and Science programs. He obtained his PhD in Plant Physiology and Biophysics from University of Tasmania in 2008. He has 15 years of expertise in electrophysiology, and plant physiology and biotechnology. He is currently co-supervising nine PhD and two Masters students. He has over 70 publications including journals like PNAS, Trends in Plant Science, Plant Cell, New Phytologist, Plant Physiology with an h-index of 26 and total citations over 2,700 since 2005. He has obtained a few large research grants in the past five years and received a range of research awards including the 2014 Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), the 2013 Australian Government Minister’s Award, and the 2013 Science and Innovation Awards to Young People in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. He is the Editor in Chief for an international journal - Plant Growth Regulation
